Medical Assistant
Duties and Responsibilities: Medical assistants help physicians and nurses take care of their patients.
They check blood pressure, make appointments, check temperature and
respiration, and perform other routine patient pre examination procedures. Medical
assistants work in clinics, hospitals, and in private physician offices.
Average Salary: $17,000 - $18,000
Educational Requirements: students who want to work as a medical assistant
should complete high school, getting good grades in biology, physical science, office
management, communications, and human relations. GED may be accepted in medical
assistant training programs. The programs are provided by community colleges. It
takes between six months and two year to complete.
I think I would like to be medical
assistant because it seems like a nice job to help a patient in need.
