Licensed Practical Nurse
(LPN)
Duties and responsibilities:
Licensed practical nurse work
under a physicians or registered nurse direction. They take care for their
patients whether it’s at home, hospitals, or in special facilities. Licensed practical nurse check for their
blood pressure, temperatures, give them injections and help them bath.
Average salary: $16,000-$23,000
Educational Requirements: to become a Licensed practical nurse you don’t really need a high school
diploma or a GED, it is encouraged. LPN’s are different from a registered
nurse. The state or hospitals offers classes for you to take so you can learn.
Reflection: I think I would
like to become a Licensed practical nurse because it seems less work from a Registered Nurse, although
this job seems unprofessional because it does not require a high school
diploma. I would not trust someone who will take care of my loved one.
