Duties and responsibilities: they work
with mentally ill aged and physically disabled patients in medical centers. They
help patients from being depressed with themselves and life in general. They keep
their patients busy with activities such as dances, games, field trips and
athletic events. They work in hospitals, nursing homes and care centers.
Average salary: $22,880 -
$50,000
Requirements: you should take AP science, math and English classes. It
is required to have a bachelor’s degree in therapeutic recreations. You need to
have a license to work in this department by the state. Most employers would
hire candidates who are CTRS.
