What i learned from this story was that if you don't listen to your parents there will be consequences. The kid had been told to put on his shoes before he went out exploring the dessert. The parents always know what is right for you and whats not. Because of the little boys laziness he got stung by a scorpion. Good thing he hadn't gone that far. If he listened to his parents in the first place he wouldn't of gotten stung.
i can relate to this because on a Sunday morning my mother and i went to go play soccer. We were a bit late so we were in a rush. Once we got there i rushed out of the car to go play because my team was incomplete. I didn't warm up or anything, so i just told the coach i was ready and he put me in the game. Not even 10 minutes late i was running for the ball so i could cover it, some tiny girl pushes me so i fall side ways and i cracked my knee. I went to the hospital to see what happen and they told me i had my ligaments twisted so i need surgery
